I love makeup, and spend a great amount of time on Youtube getting great look ideas. So today, I decided to try one of the recent looks out.
Lid color: MAC Deep Truth
Crease: MAC Shadowy Lady
Outer: MAC Carbon
Highlight: MAC Ricepaper
Its very pretty and I got a compliment when I was in Bath and Body Works. For my cheeks I used MAC Tippy Beauty Powder Blush and for my lips I used Chestnut liner and Viva Glam V lipstick.
I also started using MAC Embark eyeshadow in my brows and I like this a lot. Learned how to do my eyebrows bettter by watching Youtube also. Youtube is a Godsend.
Yes, I'm a MAC girl! LOL!

Camera, Cooking, etc.
I really need to get a new camera. This will be my 3rd Digital camera, ugh! I broke the last two due to negligence on my part. Anyway, yesterday I went to Best Buy to look at Digital Cameras and left empty-handed. The reason that I left empty-handed? Even though I was being assisted by a Sales Clerk, I felt overwhelmed with the selection so I left so that I can do research on my own.
Cooking: I watch The Food Network from time to time and this week I saw a recipe for Fried Ravioli. I can't think of the show name but, its an Italian one, I think the Cook's name is Giada? I made them and they were delicious. Recipe below:
Buttermilk
Refrigerated store bought raviolis
Italian Bread Crumbs
Cooking Oil or Olive Oil
Grated Parmesan Cheese
Marinara Sauce or any Spaghetti Sauce
Its really simple and I didn't measure because I like to eyeball when I'm cooking simple things.
You take any kind of raviolis that you like, i.e. Cheese, meat... then dip them in buttermilk. After dipping in buttermilk dredge them in Italian Bread Crumbs and fry in hot oil, turning to fry on both sides. Put quite a bit of oil so they float, you don't want to saute them.
Remove to drain on paper towel, and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and dip in spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce. Delicious!

Manicure Time
I am going to do my nails in a few minutes. I have been putting it off since yesterday. I wear my natural nails, I have been blessed with long, healthy nails. I don't wear them as long as I used to anymore, even then they weren't outrageous, not curling under (yuck). I like to call them Active length now.
The color I will polish them today is by Sally Nail Pro Molten Copper. I was inspired to get this color after seeing a color called Wildlife by Nubar on one of the message boards I subscribe to. The Nubar Nail polish has to be ordered it seems like and it just wasn't that serious to me, so when I happened to come across this similar color at Sally's I was happy as a bee. I will post the Molten Copper color.
