NOTW
This is one of my favorite "Reds" I guess it belongs to the red family. Its very complimentary to my complexion and not all reds are. This color is Vertical Rush by China Glaze. It applies very well, and the color is like a Ruby Red to me. I have it on my toesies too! I need to clean around the edges of my nails some more, got lazy...

Nails
NOTW (Nail of the Week) I only changed my nail color once a week or about every five days. My toenail polish about every two weeks.
Next time, I will try to hold the polish bottle while I take the picture. I was too lazy to get up and go get it. Anyway, I applied this color two nights ago and freshened it up with Sally Hansen Super Shine Shiny Top Coat this evening. I think Sally Hansen is a great nail care line for strengthening and they have nice shiny top coats.

A Tip about Sheer Polishes
Have you ever bought a bottle of polish that looks like its a creme but, when you apply it is too sheer and not the look you were going for? Well, I like to use Orly Ridge Filler Base coat (its white) as my base coat for these kinds of polishes so they will get that creme look like the way the polish looks in the bottle!
I've also read that you could use a white polish under those kinds of sheer colors too.
Examples of colors that would be best to use these methods with: OPI Give Me the Moon, OPI Need Sunglasses, OPI Make Love. Just to name a few.

HAIR
I need to do more with this blog, but, anyway. I tried two new products on my hair tonight and I am very impressed. They were: Mizani Moisturfusion Milk Bath Shampoo and Moisturfusion Silk Cream Conditioner. I used the conditioner under the dryer with a conditioning cap on for 10 minutes as one of the options in the directions. The bottle says that the conditioner is for dry hair and will give it a gloss and it did!
The picture I have posted isn't after using the products, I will have to post those later. The picture is from a roller set on 1/24/10 using Mizani Foam Wrap set. Mizani is pretty good! I don't use their relaxer though, I use Affirm.
When I was rinsing the conditioner out I had to finally stop myself because I realized it was just how soft the conditioner left my hair and not excess conditioner still in my hair that was making it feel like I needed to keep rinsing. (Hope this makes sense).
Back to the Shampoo, when I rinsed the shampoo out and looked at my hair before applying the conditioner. My hair looked rich and hydrated!
I normally use Keracare but, due to this Winter weather I needed something heavier for my coarse hair. When I came across Mizani Moisturfusion it looked like just what the doctor ordered!
